Coco Holliday is a Tennessee native who grew up in both Memphis and Nashville. For college, she attended the University of Virginia, where she graduated with a degree in Neuroscience, was a distance runner for UVA’s Cross Country & Track teams, and conducted research in the lab of Dr. John Lukens. In the Lukens Lab, she worked with Hannah Ennerfelt to study the microglial response to Alzheimer’s Disease. Currently, Coco is a PhD student in the Immunology program at Harvard Medical School. In the Chiu lab, she is interested in the role of innate immune mechanisms that drive neurodegeneration and responses to neuronal infection. In her free time, Coco enjoys distance running, cooking, traveling, and reading.
